The most important factor when designing a garden is getting to know the client.  We try our best to understand who you are, what you want and how best to make it happen!  We strive to make the most of what you have and work with you to ensure the final product is everything you wanted and more!

Meet and Greet

We will meet you at your premises in order to discuss the following:

Your requirements – your wants and needs, the nice to have and the necessary

Your budget – non-negotiable and we cannot start the design process without a budget.

We will also assess your garden (and take initial measurements and photos) in order to start the site plan of your property.

The Concept

We will return to your home to present our ideas to make sure we are heading in the right direction and all on the same page.

This will include the following:

  • Initial concept plan showing basic design an overview of our design thoughts
  • A mood board a little more detail in terms of what we are thinking
  • High-level costings for your garden to fit in with your budget

Formal Design

Once the concept plan, mood board and initial costing have been signed off, we will commence with the formal design of your garden which will include the final design, project scope (timelines) and the final costing.

You will then have the option to purchase the design and install the garden yourself, or you can trust our team to come and install the garden for you.

The garden girl team will transform your garden as per the design and project scope.

We handle every aspect of the installation and manage the entire project from beginning to end.

New gardens need tender loving care while the plants settle into their new home. We understand that time is often limited, and the little you have is precious, so we offer a variety of management solutions to suit your needs. These can include the following:

  • Weekly and/or monthly check ups to ensure everything is on track
  • Seasonal services seedlings, fertiliser, compost, etc
  • Gardener training to ensure the long term success of your garden
